
The arrival of winter is now imminent. A whole organization is set in motion when the first snowflakes fall on the ground. Here are some important things to remember.
- It is not allowed to park a car on the sidewalk or alongside the road durant the winter season.
- No pickets should be installed on the street limits. They must be installed on your property's limits.
- It is not allowed to blow or push snow on sidewalks and streets.
- Only the municipal streets are under the Town of Haut-Madawaska's responsability. The following regional and provincial roads are the Department of Transportatino and Infrastructure's responsibility:
- Routes 120, 161, 2025, and 215.
- Roads: Beaulieu, Belmont, Bouchad, Collin, des Jaunes, du Lac, du Ruisseau, Grand Reed, Joseph-Morneault, Laplante, Levasseur, Nadeau, Pelletier, Petite-Rivière, Picard, Rang 2, and Riceville.
- Streets: Cyr, des Ormes, Dugal, and Richard.
- Snow removal priorities are as follows:
- Firestations
- Municipal streets and sidewalks
- Municipal offices
- Community health service center
Take note that snow removal priorities may vary depending on the day and the time the snow falls.
