Over the coming weeks, the Municipality will actively continue with the project’s preparatory stages, including the design and various technical analyses necessary to ensure the project’s optimal implementation.

In this context, the Municipality will be assisted by BPA, the firm commissioned to design the plans for the refrigeration system.

During the summer, you may notice a regular presence on-site for surveys or technical testing.

Consequently, between now and fall 2026, work will focus primarily on preparing plans and specifications. A call for bids from contractors is then scheduled for the fall, in order to begin construction as soon as the Center’s scheduled activities conclude, i.e., around the end of March 2027.

This schedule is designed to minimize potential impacts on the arena’s 2026–2027 and 2027–2028 operating seasons, while allowing sufficient time to develop a design tailored to the building.
